Chess Set Staunton Standard

This Staunton Standard Set Is consists of an inlaid, wooden chess board with or without indices (chessboard), Staunton Standard pieces and DGT 2010 chess clock as option.

This 52x52cm veneer chessboard has been crafted from sycamore and walnut. This fine chess board has a square size of 55mm. It is standard tournament size with Staunton chess pieces and have been offered with wooden box as a set. With a 98mm King this set is ideal for tournaments and also for home use. The chessmen have been made from hornbeam wood and they have a slightly rustic finish off. Carefully crafted, weighted and equipped with felt pads on the bottom these pieces feel great in the hand and glide across the board nicely. The box is stained.

DGT2010, the official chess clock of the World Chess Federation FIDE.

The DGT2010 was introduced in 2007 and received the status of "Official FIDE Chess Clock" in June 2008 after tests by four top-level arbiters concluded that the clock is in full accordance with all FIDE rules and regulations.
